FRIENDS OF MOUNT VERNON PLACE is the only membership group that focuses specifically on the parks. Neighborhood residents and representatives from the cultural institutions, organizations and businesses joined together in 1999 - launched by the Midtown Plan - and initiated by the Project for Public Spaces. We conversed. We dreamed. We questioned. We walked the four squares of Mount Vernon Place. An eager group, we recognized the strengths of "our front yard".

We need your donations. No amount is too small!

Friends of Mount Vernon Place is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization donations to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. A copy of our Federal Tax ID # and current financial statement is available upon request by contacting us.
